A definition may be correct and still fail, on its own, to produce what it aims to achieve. Execution Governance is the capacity to ensure that what has been decided is incorporated into functioning and continues to find coherent execution over time.
When functioning is structured
It is possible to improve its performance, increase consistency between what has been defined and what happens, strengthen adherence to what has been defined and enhance its capacity for sustainment.
Standard Functioning also makes dependencies, variations and structural conditions that may remain intertwined in work more visible.
